One person is dead after a two-car crash in the West Auckland suburb of New Lynn.
Police said two cars have collided at the intersection of Rata and Rimu Streets.
One of the drivers died at the scene, and police said it was possible he had a heart attack before the crash.
The Serious Crash unit is examining the scene.
Rata Street will be closed and people are being asked to avoid the area.
