A person has died after being struck by a train in West Auckland.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Glenview Road, Glen Eden, about 9.23am.
Trains in the area were stopped due to the incident.
Police advised travellers to expect delays on Friday morning and asked motorists to avoid the area if possible.
