A Samoa Public Service Commissioner and former cabinet minister, Mulitalo Siafausa, has been found guilty of ten counts of indecent acts against a woman he had employed.
Mulitalo was charged after the victim had laid a complaint with police about the indecent acts Mulitalo had asked her to perform as part of her employment.
However the victim had also told police she had kept her job as she needed the money to look after her children.
The court discharged interim name suppression for the defendant imposed in June 2009 but maintains it for the complainant and her family.
The former ruling HRPP party politician has been released on bail condition to surrender his travel documents and passport to court registrar before sentencing on the 16 of next month.
