Taranaki farmers recovering from the June floods are to receive a further $400,000 in relief funding - just in time for Christmas.
The money is Taranaki's share of a $1.3 million government package announced last month.
Grants will be for a minimum of $25,000 and capped at $100,000 for any one farm.
The Taranaki Disaster Relief Committee wants to approve grants quickly so the money can get to where it is needed before the end of the year.
