One person has died after a motorcycle collided with a car north of Dunedin this morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Dunedin's Northern Motorway near Mt Cargill at about 10.10am this morning.
Police said the motorcyclist died at the scene. No one else was injured.
State Highway 1 remains closed between Great King St in North Dunedin and Waitati.
