Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a woman at a Dunedin bar.
The woman suffered facial injuries in the attack at the Suburbia Bar about 2.30am on Sunday.
Police said the assault was unprovoked and by a person not known to the woman. They are appealing for information from anyone in the bar at the time.
