Police have named the two drivers who died following a crash in the Rodney District on Saturday night.
They were 25-year-old Tegan Mandy Melinda Hill, of Hamilton, and 59-year-old Joanne Elizabeth Wilson, of Parakai.
The crash occurred on Kahikatea Flat Road in Waitoki about 10pm.
Police have expressed their condolences to the women's families and friends.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
