Seven people injured after ambulance rolls in South Auckland

A South Auckland intersection where an ambulance rolled last night, injuring seven, has re-opened.

St John reported that the patients with moderate to minor injuries were all taken to Middlemore Hospital.

The intersection at East Tamaki Road and Bairds Road re-opened just after 3am this morning.

Two of the seven people injured remain in hospital.

All seven were treated for minor to moderate injuries.

Police are still investigating what caused the crash near the intersection of East Tamaki and Bairds roads.
