The second to last disputed Cook Islands election result will be ruled on today by the Court of Appeal.
The Education Minister, Moana Ioane, who is in the Cook Islands Party, has faced a petition and subsequent appeal in the Aitutaki seat of Vaipae-Tautu from the Democratic Party's Kete Ioane.
Justice Williams is expected to deliver his decision this morning.
From today two outstanding petitions are being heard on the Mitiaro seat, which is now tentatively held by the Democratic Party's Tangata Vavia, after a recount went his way.
But officials say a further recount is possible, depending on the outcome of the petitions.
