Two people are critically injured after a crash in Southland.
Police say the two-car crash on Tokanui-Gorge Road Highway, between Fleming Road and Chisholm Road, south-east of Invercargill, was reported just after midday.
St John Ambulance said two people with critical injuries have been flown to Dunedin Hospital.
Another three people with serious injuries have been taken via ambulance to hospital, and one person with moderate injuries was treated at the scene.
Diversions are in place.
