Ko loses her youngest winner tag

The New Zealand golf sensation Lydia Ko has lost her status as the youngest winner of a professional golf tournament.

Ko made history when she won the 2012 New South Wales Open three months before her 15th birthday.

But she's been outdone by a younger Thai - Phachara Khongwatmai, a 4-shot winner of an ASEAN PGA Tour event only two months after his 14th birthday.

The field included one of Thailand's leading professionals Prom Meesawat, who was absolutely stunned by the teenager's performance to finish the event 14-under par.
