Auckland play Canterbury in the final round of the domestic Twenty/20 cricket competition in Auckland today in a preview to this weekend's HRV Cup final.
Auckland beat canterbury on the last ball of the match earlier in the competition with Martin Guptill blasting 120 off just 60 balls to claim the highest ever score in the competition.
The Aces are the HRV Cup defending champions and the Canterbury batsman Brendan Diamante knows a win today would give the victors a psychological edge in the final.
The match gets underway at Colin Maiden Park at 5pm.
