Five seriously injured in Auckland crash

Five people have been hospitalised following a serious crash in Glenbrook in rural Auckland.

The single-vehicle crash occurred on the Glenbrook-Waiuku Road at a service station just after midnight.

A ute, collided with an electric sign and rolled and two of the five occupants were ejected from the car while three others were initially trapped.

Police said all five people were taken to hospital and were in a serious condition.

Glenbrook-Waiuku Road has been reopened.
