Two MPs in Fiji have been questioned by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) for alleged breaches of the Parliamentary Remuneration Act.
FBC News reported that Government MP Vijendra Prakash and Opposition MP Salote Radrodro were questioned today.
They are among seven MPs being investigated for allegedly claiming travel and accommodation allowances they were not entitled to.
Other MPs expected to be questioned by the commission include Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, Adi Litia Qionibaravi, Mosese Bulitavu, Ratu Suliano Matanitobua and Peceli Vosanibola.
The commission said it had received a complaint from the Parliament Secretariat about the alleged breaches.
