The FBC reported the church's president, Reverend Dr Epineri Vakadewavosa, saying church members should drink responsibly.

The president also said while some members smoked, the church didn't encourage it because it was unhealthy.

Reverend Vakadewavosa said the church respected the liberty of its members but highlighted that it had a Code of Conduct which should be followed.
