There are no plans to reschedule either the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi or the 2011 World Cup Cricket tournament despite security concerns after the Mumbai terror attacks.

The Indian Olympic Association secretary-general Randhir Singh has said there is no threat to the Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi in October 2010, the first time the Games will have awarded to India.

And speculation about the Cricket World Cup the following year after the recent escalation of diplomatic tensions escalated between India and Pakistan, has been dismissed by Sharad Pawar who'll become the International Cricket Council President in 2010.

The Cricket World Cup will be co-hosted by four Asian countries.
