Day three of cricket's Plunket Shield will start with Canterbury, Northern Districts and Wellington well placed.
Otago will resume their first inninggs on 195 for seven in Rangiora still trailing Canterbury by 245 and at the Basin Reserve Auckland are 186 for four , 170 behind Wellington.
And in Whangarei Central Districts are 178 for five in their second innings , five behind Northern Districts.
