The body of a man recovered from the Waikato River on Thursday has been formally identified.
Shaun Joseph Farrell was reported missing on 15 August, a few days after a jogger told police she had seen a man struggling in the river near the Fairfield Bridge in Hamilton.
The 23-year-old's body was discovered semi-submerged in the river near the Ngaruawahia Golf Course.
