This weekend, politicians and party faithful are continuing their charm offensive throughout the country, venturing out to strategic spots for speaking opportunities, hand shaking and photo opportunities.
The election, on 14 October, is now just 20 days - or a little over two weeks - away.
So far, on Sunday morning, National Party leader Chris Luxon has been out at the Brewtown Farmers' Market, in Upper Hutt, meeting vendors and shoppers. Hutt South-based National list MP Christopher Bishop and Remutaka electorate National candidate Emma Chatterton were accompanying him.
Among the stalls, they visited the 'Barket' dog's area, next door to the main market.
Labour have posted about their work in mental health and addiction and the Green Party have posted about their plan to put caps on rent increases.
On Wednesday this week overseas voting and telephone dictation voting begins, and a week from now, on 2 October, advance voting starts.
