PNG reports new Covid-19 case

Papua New Guinea has reported another case of Covid-19 over the weekend, taking the country's total count to 867.

The latest case involved a 24-year-old student in West New Britain who lives in the Talasea district.

The woman had a cough at the time of testing.

There have now been 867 infections with nine known deaths.

There are 30 active cases are in isolation.
