Two people have been arrested in relation to a smash-and-grab at a Christchurch jewellery store this week.
Three people brandishing hammers robbed the store on Papanui Road in the suburb of Merivale just before midday on Monday.
Police said two men, both aged 19, had been arrested in Christchurch and charged with aggravated robbery.
One was also charged with unlawfully getting into a motor vehicle.
Inquiries to identify a third person involved in the robbery are ongoing.
