The world tennis number one Rafael Nadal has beaten the third seed Novak Djokovic 6-3 2-6 6-1 in the final of the Monte Carlo Masters to become the first man to win the claycourt tournament five times in succession.
Nadal was 3-1 down in the opening set before winning five straight games, and after losing the second set, the four times French Open champion had to save three match points in the opening game of the decider before taking charge.
