The Tonga auditor general's parliamentary future will continue to be discussed today in the Legislative Assembly.
In the year's first session, a letter signed by the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister was read out, accusing the Auditor General, Pohiva Tu'i'onetoa, of three counts of professional misconduct.
He is accused of giving out incorrect information about New Zealand's foreign minister which put relations at risk between Tonga and New Zealand.
It's claimed he also released the results of an audit report into New Zealand's aid to the media rather than to Parliament.
He's also accused of putting money set aside for overtime payments into a personal account.
The auditor general has denied all the accusations against him.
