Tourism Holdings Ltd has reported a heavy loss of $27.3 million after writing off $26 million in goodwill.
Excluding that, the company lost $1.2 million, due to natural disasters on both sides of the Tasman affecting tourist numbers and the cost of increasing its fleet in Australia.
