A five-month-old in a stroller who was hit by a car in Auckland has died in hospital.

The child was in a stroller when they were hit by a car on Lake Road in Northcote, shortly before 9am.
St John said an ambulance crew including a manager attended the scene where one patient was treated and taken to Starship Hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene.
The death will be referred to the coroner.
