More than $11 million dollars being committed to Taranaki's Green School, the National Party says it's hypocritical, and goes against the Green Party's own policy of not funding private schools.
National education spokeswoman Nicola Willis says schools up and down the country will wonder why they aren't able to access the same funding to fix or expand their school grounds.
She says churches, businesses and community groups could also create construction jobs if they were given millions of dollars.
