The Queensland-based New Zealand swimmer Cara Baker has won the New Zealand Open Water Championship title on Lake Taupo.
Baker finished sixth overall and 11 minutes clear of second placed Georgia Hind of Wellington with Queensland's Caitlin Zillman third.
Fellow Gold Coast swimmer George O'Brien won the men's title after a tight battle with New Zealanders Casey Glover of Wellington and Philip Ryan of Auckland.
