The organiser of the Boobs on Bikes parade is defending charges under the Companies Act in relation to a porn distribution company.
Eden Digital Ltd was put into liquidation in 2009 and Steve Crow banned from taking any part in the company for four years from April 2010.
Mr Crow appeared briefly in the Auckland District Court on Thursday following a Ministry of Economic Development investigation.
The ministry says it believes Mr Crow was involved in the management and promotion of Eden Digital in August last year.
Mr Crow, who represented himself, pleaded not guilty. He is to reappear in court on 5 April.
