One of Kim Dotcom's co-accused says he was not aware of any of the illegal behaviour the United States has accused him of carrying out.
The hearing to decide whether Mr Dotcom and three other men should be extradited to the US to face copyright, money-laundering and racketeering charges is now in its tenth week.
Finn Batato - who was the chief marketing officer for the men's file-sharing website Megaupload - is defending himself after running out of funds to employ lawyers.
He told the hearing in Auckland today he was not employed until late 2007, after some of the alleged offending had taken place, and had no access to or knowledge of the technical side of the business.
The hearing has adjourned until Monday, when the Crown will present its right of reply on behalf of the US.
