By-election gives hope to Manus, Nauru refugees

There is hope the Australian government's defeat in the Wentworth by-election on Saturday could lead to a change in its offshore detention policy.

It's estimated between 13 and 15 hundred refugees are are still living in exile in Papua New Guinea and Nauru, where many are suffering the grave affects of five years of indefinite detention.
