A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder over a fatal shooting in Mohaka Village in Hawke's Bay earlier this month.

Michael Huata, 29, was taken to Wairoa Hospital on 18 June with a gunshot wound but later died.
Police say a man was arrested in relation to the shooting in Napier on Thursday.
He has already appeared in the Napier District Court and is expected to reappear at the High Court in Gisborne on 18 July.
