CNMI flights cancelled due to broken runway lights

Issues with the runway lights of the main Northern Marianas airport resulted in dozens of flights being delayed or cancelled over the weekend.

The Commonwealth Ports Authority says the lights on the main runwway at Saipan stopped working properly in Friday night.

The authority is using local electricians to try and resolve the problems.
