Campervan operator Tourism Holdings (THL) is expecting an improved full-year result on the back of strong trading in the first half.
The company, which is due to report its half-year result next week, said its underlying net profit for 2023 is expected to be above $75 million, compared to a loss of $5.4m for the prior half-year.
The full-year forecast includes $27m from Apollo Tourism and Leisure (ATL) for the five-month period ended November 2022.
The interim result will be the first set of results following the merger of the two companies - with ATL's underlying five-month result also including a $9m gain on the sale of 310 motorhomes to Jucy Rentals.
Excluding ATL's profit for the period before the merger, THL's forecast underlying profit is above $48m.
THL said more details on its performance would be released next week.
