Papua New Guinea's Governor General, Sir Michael Ogio, has been medivacced to Australia in a critical condition.

He was flown to Brisbane from Port Moresby on Friday morning.
Sir Michael, who became Governor General in 2011, underwent coronary bypass surgery in Singapore nearly a year ago.
