Covid-19: Aucklanders appetite for takeaways lower in Level 3

When New Zealanders emerged from their five weeks of Alert Level 4, a top priority for many was ordering that favourite takeaway.

Struggling fast food outlets and cafes enjoyed a much-needed cash injection from pent up demand.

In Auckland's latest spell under Alert Level 3 there's been no flurry of business for the hospitality sector, raising the risk for some of permanent closure.
