Seven NZ crews on the water at World Rowing Champs

There are seven New Zealand crews on the water tonight at the world rowing champs in Slovenia with three crews in contention for finals berths.

The world champion pair of Rebecca Scown and Juilette Haigh are in the semi-finals, with first three advancing to the final.

Also into semi finals are the men's eight and lightweight men's pair.

Former World Champion Mahe Drysdale will line up in the single scull quarter-finals.

Also in the quarterfinals are the men's lightweight double of Storm Uru and Peter Taylor.

While the men's four and the women's lightweight double must finish in the first two of their repechages to advance to the semi finals.
