Police have closed part of a major motorway in Auckland after a serious crash.
The crash in the suburb of Massey was reported just before 10.30pm on Anzac Day, and emergency services were at the scene, a police spokesperson said.
North-bound lanes of the Northwestern Motorway were closed as far south as Lincoln Road, and traffic management was in place.
Police said the crash involved a single vehicle, and the Serious Crash Unit had been advised.
