Settlement made over death of American Samoa workers

The United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration has reached a formal settlement with an American Samoa company over the deaths of three workers.

The company provided crane services for a project at Manu'a's Store, during which three men were electrocuted and died early last year.

Under the formal settlement, Jersey Corporation, which trades as Asia Pacific Engineering & Construction Service, is to pay a penalty of $US14,197.
