More French Polynesians stranded in France since March have arrived in Tahiti.
The group of 44 people travelled on a plane chartered by the French government.
The French High Commission said they were chosen because of the serious difficulties they faced.
About 1000 French Polynesians are waitlisted for seats on the charter which flies from Paris every ten days.
Anyone landing in Tahiti from mainland France must be tested for Covid-19 before departure and go into quarantine for two weeks on arrival.
Repatriation flights bring in much needed supplies
The relief flight, which was the fourth under the current regime, also brought 15 tons of freight, including pharmaceutical supplies, masks but also a large quantity of mail.
There has been an outcry over the repatriation problems.
The resumption of commercial flights is weeks away as pressure also builds on how to rotate about 1500 French public servants who would also be required to heed sanitary control practices.
A health state of emergency declared in France in March was extended to 10 July.
France recorded more than 26000 Covid-19-related deaths while French Polynesia had none.
