Latest - New Zealand driver Scott Mclaughlin has lost his Indycar championship lead after finishing a lowly 14th in the third round in Long Beach, California.
McLaughlin, who started ninth, had his issues around the street circuit which dropped him down the field
His Penske team-mate Josef Newgarden won the race to take over the championship lead with McLaughlin now five points back in second.
The 28 year old won the opening round and was second in the second round.
Fellow New Zealander Scott Dixon finished sixth and is now up to fifth in the standings.
It is Newgarden's second successive win, while Team Penske have won all three races this season.
The next round is in Alabama next month.
Evans dominates in Rome
New Zealander Mitch Evans sent a championship warning to his Formula E rivals with his second victory for Jaguar in two days of electric racing in Rome.
Evans, who won on Saturday from ninth place on the starting grid, was even more impressive today as he celebrated his third career win on the streets of the Italian capital's EUR district.
"The race was a carbon copy from yesterday, the car was working perfectly," he said after moving up to fourth overall in the standings.
"We are back as a team, I am back towards the top, so it is good times."
Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne, the two times Formula E champion who leads the standings with 60 points after finishing runner-up in today's fifth round of the season, said Evans' performance was a wake-up call to the rest.
"The Jaguar and Mitch were way too fast this weekend, I hope that is only going to be a one-off from their side, otherwise it might be difficult to beat them, said the DS Techeetah driver, who started on pole position.
Mercedes continued to lead the team standings, nine points clear of Porsche, with Jaguar moving up to fifth behind DS Techeetah and Venturi.

Bastianani wins again
Gresini Racing's Enea Bastianini claimed his second MotoGP win of the season at the Grand Prix of the Americas to move top of the championship, while the returning Marc Marquez stormed back to finish sixth after dropping to last place.
Suzuki rider Alex Rins battled through to second on the final lap to finish ahead of Ducati's Jack Miller, who claimed his first podium finish of the year in Austin, Texas.
Polesitter Jorge Martin, who led a Ducati quintet in qualifying, lost out to Miller at turn one and the two traded places but the Spaniard faded later in the race and had to settle for eighth.
Honda's six-time MotoGP champion Marquez, in action again after recovering from a bout of double vision, dropped to last after a sluggish start but powered his way back into the race.

Mozert won the 4th race on Sunday, while van Goisbergen had tyre issues and finished 20th.
Van Gisbergen has a 144 point lead over Ford driver Anton De Pasquale with another 18 points back to Mostert.
The next round is in Perth later this month.
Proteas set for another victory
Spinners Keshav Maharaj and Simon Harmer took three quick wickets as South Africa reduced Bangladesh to 27 for three in pursuit of a victory target of 413 at the close on day three of the second and final test at St George's Park in Gqeberha.
The duo made inroads into the visitors' top order on a wicket that is taking prodigious turn and with the weather set fair for the next two days, Bangladesh face a battle to claim a most unlikely victory.
The highest successful run chase at St George's Park is 271 by Australia against South Africa in 1997. The only other total over 200 was South Africa's 215 against New Zealand in 1954.
Visiting captain Mominul Haque will resume on five, and will be joined at the wicket by first-innings top scorer Mushfiqur Rahim.
South Africa went in pursuit of quick runs in their second innings as opener Sarel Erwee top-scored with 41 and Verreynne ended unbeaten on 39 before they declared on 176 for six.
Left arm spinner Taijul Islam finished with figures of 3-67 for a match haul of 9-202.
South Africa bowled Bangladesh out for 217 in their first innings.

Paddon wins in Otago
Rally star Hayden Paddon, co-driver John Kennard and the Hyundai New Zealand Rally team put together a near perfect performance for the opening round of the New Zealand Rally Championship in Dunedin.
Paddon and Kennard won the Otago Rally for the sixth consecutive time while they piloted the Hyundai i20 AP4 rally car to win 13 of the rally's 14 special stages, secure five new stage records and top the standings for the NZRC points table.
The rally also counted as a qualifying round of the 2022 FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship, so the pair scored maximum points there too.
"The driveshaft failure at the start of the third stage on Saturday caused us a nervous moment when it spun the car around, but we got it back to service and the guys were able to fix it up.
"Then there was a puncture on the last stage. Very mindful that SS8 was the power stage so tried to nurse it through the stage to minimise the time loss and get those power stage points. We were luckily able to do that.
"Overall, it's been a good weekend. To get the win was our target. It always puts a bit of pressure on when you've only got one target for the weekend. To tick it off and get maximum points for the weekend is perfect, although probably not as plain sailing as we'd have liked.
The Hyundai New Zealand Rally team are now preparing for the International Rally of Whangarei taking place 13-15 May.
Coach says Boks will be better this year
South Africa head coach Jacques Nienaber says the Springboks will be looking to "improvise, build and improve" in 2022 and that it would be arrogant to believe there were aspects of their game that did not need refining.
The Boks will host Wales for three tests in July, the start of 18 games before they begin the defence of their Rugby World Cup title in France next year.
Nienaber admits they learned much in a mixed season in 2021 that included a series win against the British & Irish Lions, but a poor Rugby Championship campaign.
"It is a big challenge for us to still look to try and be creative, we can't just sit back and say we know how to win tests, we know how to win a World Cup and end the season as number one in the world (rankings). That would be arrogant," Nienaber said.
The Boks did not play a test in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and had virtually no build-up to the Lions series.
"To beat the Lions with the level of preparation we had in that series and to perform well against New Zealand at the end of the Rugby Championship, which came after a 16-week secure bio-bubble, was unbelievable."

Wood's irons go for a mint
The set of irons Tiger Woods used to win four consecutive major tournaments sold at auction for nearly $7.5 million -- a record price for golf memorabilia.
Woods won the "Tiger Slam" -- the U.S. Open, The Open Championship and the PGA Championship in 2000 and the Masters in 2001 -- using the Titleist 681-T irons.
Golden Age Auctions put the clubs up for auction with an opening bid of $36,000.
The sale of Horton Smith's green jacket in 2013 for $995,000 had been the largest sale of golf memorabilia. Horton won the first Masters in 1934 and repeated two years later.
There is no word on who the buyer was but the clubs were sold by Todd Brock, a private equity investor from Houston.
Brock bought the irons in 2010 for $83,000, and he said the proceeds from the sale will go to his foundation. The clubs came with detailed documents to verify their authenticity.
