In the Northern Marianas, South Korean investors have embarked on a multi-million dollar renovation of the former Palms Resort Saipan and have renamed it Kensington Saipan Hotel.

E-Land Group expects the renovation will last six months and are planning an October or November opening of the 313-room hotel in the north of the island.

E-Land expects the 20 to 30-million dollar renovation to add much-needed hotel rooms to the CNMI's rebounding tourism industry and create hundreds of job opportunities for Saipan residents.
