The Nauru government says asylum seekers on Nauru will be in new purpose-built accommodation by the end of next month.
88 people, almost a quarter of the four hundred living in temporary tents on the island, have already been moved.
Human rights groups have criticised conditions in the Australia-run camp, established under Canberra's offshore processing policy.
The Nauru government says improved permanent accommodation will be ready by April the 20th.
