Chinese politics specialist warns NZ against Huawei

A former British diplomat and specialist in Chinese politics is warning New Zealand not to let Chinese company, Huawei into our 5G network. This is despite the head of the UK's National Cyber Security Centre saying strict controls could offset any risks with using Huawei, in Britain's 5G network upgrade. Charlie Parton, who is now an associate fellow with independent British think-tank, the Royal United Services Institute, tells reporter Charlie Dreaver the risk posed by Huawei is too great.
