The body of a man who fell from a raft on a West Coast river has been found.
Cordell Joseph Nigel O'Malley, who was 22, fell into the Ahaura River, at an area known as Griffin Flat, on Sunday.
He was from Ngahere in Grey District.
His body was found on Wednesday 20km downstream from where he entered the water.
The police national dive squad and police drone operators helped in the search.
Cordell's wife and parents thanked the volunteers who helped bring him back to them, police said.
Police said the matter had been referred to the coroner.
