Another 24 asylum seekers have been flown into Nauru, taking the total number moved there in a week and a half to 119.
It is the 4th group moved from Christmas Islands to a temporary camp in which the asylum seekers live in tents.
Nauru is hosting the detention camp, at the request of Canberra, for people seeking refugee status in Australia.
A similar camp on Manus Island, off Papua New Guinea's north coast, is not expected to open for at least a month.
The Nauru Government says one of the asylum seekers already on the island, a Sri Lankan man, chose to return to his homeland, and left Nauru yesterday.
