A judge in Fiji has ruled that the former Education Minister, Mahendra Reddy, has a case to answer.
Dr Reddy, from the ruling Fiji First party, has been charged with one count of bribery by the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
It is alleged that he offered a steady water source to a high school in exchange for a school manager's vote.
The commission said he interfered with the free exercise or performace of the manager's political rights.
Dr Reddy, who denied the charge, will next appear in court on Tuesday.
