A car fire is caused delays on an Auckland motorway during peak traffic in the second highway blaze in the city today.
The latest fire was on the Northwestern Motorway, near the Rosebank off-ramp.
Fire and Emergency said nobody was injured.
One lane was blocked as emergency services dealt with the fire.
NZTA also warned that rubbernecking motorists were causing delays, and drivers were advised to avoid the area if possible.
The car has now been cleared and all lanes are open.
Earlier this afternoon, a car fire blocked part of the Greenlane northbound off-ramp on the city's Southern Motorway.
NZTA camera footage taken shortly after midday showed the vehicle fully ablaze, halfway up the on-ramp.
The vehicle was cleared away after 45 minutes and all lanes are now open.
