Fiji police have taken a new suspect into custody in relation to the death of New Zealand businessman Ashkan Farsani.
FBC news reported that two men, who had earlier handed themselves into police, had been released.
Mr Farsani, who was from Auckland, was involved in the taro export industry.
On Wednesday, he was driven to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva with stab wounds, however attempts to save his life were unsuccessful.
The silver Toyota Prius that dropped him at the hospital was later found abandoned in Tacirua.
