Opposition leader's resignation wanted by PM

08:53 am on 23 June 2009

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is demanding Opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull resign because of the way he handled what has now been dubbed the Utegate scandal.

Police investigations have found the email was a fake.

But Mr Turnbull told the 7:30 Report that no-one in the Opposition had anything to do with creating the faked email and he will not resign.
