An Australian couple accused of smuggling drugs and ammunition into Fiji have appeared in court again in Lautoka.
The prosecution told the Lautoka District Court charges against John and Yvette Nikolic would be consolidated by the end of the month.
The former Melbourne horse trainer and his wife who were on a luxury yacht are alleged to have illegally imported drugs and ammunition in Denarau last month.
Officials allegedly seized thirteen bricks of cocaine weighing 15 kilograms as well as ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of $US10 to 15 million from the yacht.
They also allegedly found $US15,000 in undeclared currency, guns and ammunition on board.
